Novel writing is the first form of literary arts that I participated in due to my constant exposures to books from a young age. Immersing myself in worlds of others, and eventually my own, novels pried open the doors of creative writing for me. Thus, I've created three books to represent the different phases in my life through a fantasy novel, a realistic fiction and a chapbook.
Elysium Abyss is about an arsonist named Alexia Lively who grew up without her parents and her siblings after the enigmatic man, X, mercilessly murdered them. She was determined to move on from her childhood traumas after realizing revenge was unattainable. However, arcane deaths began to occur constantly around her when junior year hit. A couple of months later, her caretaker Cheryl Coleman disappeared and Alexia finally decided to find out about her past life and her past self.
Buried Blue is a chapbook that discusses the undiscussed. It is divided into four sections, taking the readers on a rollercoaster of emotions. It is a collection of proses, poetry and plays. It is my take on experiencing the five stages of grief in a lyrical way.
The Isle is a coming-of-age fantasy novel about four kids that got banished from their school to a punishing place — “The Isle”. They shall break free from their imprisonment by working together. It is a novel about friendship, love and magic.
